Galena summit is a high mountain pass located in central Idaho.  It towers to over 8000 feet and gives a breath taking view of the Sawtooth Mountains. 

It is 42 miles north of Hailey Idaho, so plan fuel accordingly.  Also, it has several steep grades so be sure your rotary is ready.
